Question 1

How fast can Tidemark Water Damage San Francisco get to my home?

Accepted Answer

Most homes in our Bay Area service area can be reached the same day you call. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Call (831) 400-3496 during those hours and a live coordinator will match you with the local team. Estimates are free.

Question 2

Will my insurance cover water damage restoration?

Accepted Answer

In many cases, yes, but coverage depends on the source of the water and your policy terms. We document the affected areas thoroughly with photos, and we can coordinate directly with your adjuster so the scope is clear for everyone. Call (831) 400-3496 and we'll walk through what your policy likely covers.

Question 3

What should I do while I wait for you to arrive?

Accepted Answer

If it's safe to do so, shut off the water at the source or at the main valve. Move small items out of standing water if you can reach them without risk, and keep kids and pets away from the affected area. Don't use electrical appliances near wet flooring or walls. Beyond that, wait for our team to assess and scope the damage. We'll give you a written price before any work starts.

Question 4

Do I really need full drying, or is a quick cleanup enough?

Accepted Answer

If water soaked into drywall, flooring, or cabinetry, surface cleanup usually isn't enough. Moisture trapped in building materials can lead to mold and structural problems weeks after the visible water is gone. We find the tide mark and dry past it, so the drying is complete, not just cosmetic. Call (831) 400-3496 and we'll tell you honestly what your job needs.

Question 5

What is the Cedarwell Care Promise?

Accepted Answer

The Cedarwell Care Promise is the standard every Tidemark location agrees to work under. It means shoe covers and drop cloths inside your home, quiet tools when the kids are asleep, pet-safe products where there's a choice, a photo of the clean-up before we leave, and a written price before any work starts. That promise follows our team into every city we serve.
